Event Description:
As oceans warm and glaciers melt, polar bears chase ice floes further north. In June of 2017, Kathy Lichtendahl traveled on the National Geographic Explorer to the archipelago around Svalbard, Norway. During this presentation, Lichtendahl will show some of her photos and share a few of her stories that provide a glimpse of life in the far north.
This event concludes the Northwest College celebration of the 2017 International Education Week.
