Name: Homesteader Days Street Festival 2018
Date: September 8, 2018
Time: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM MDT
Event Description:
The Homesteader Days family Street Festival is on Saturday, September 8th. It honors America's homesteading heritage which is the reason that Powell Wyoming exists. This must attend weekend in Powell and is full of local flavor.

The Homesteader Museum highlights an exciting time in American history. Powell Wyoming was a part of the Shoshone Project which was a federal Reclamation Project in 1904 to bring irrigation to the Big Horn Basin in Wyoming and expand productive farmland westward. The people who settled here are rugged, hardworking Homesteaders. Powell continues to have a strong agricultural foundation with a forward-looking sensibility. The Museum does a wonderful job with local programs and national exhibits.
