MakerSpace October Girls Maker Club

Every fourth Tuesday of the month, Girls Maker Club will meet from 3:45 to 5:45 at the Powell MakerSpace to make cool projects, have fun, and eat snacks! Girls in middle or high school are encouraged to attend. No experience or prior attendance is required. In October, attendees will create a spinning jewelry holder shaped like a cross section of an orange, watermelon, or pizza. The piece will be created using a LASER CUTTER and then painted. It will have triangular magnetic-closure pockets in which to put jewelry. It’ll be cool! (Eventually, there will be a sample at the Makerspace.)
