Summer Dance Intensives

• 5 day Beginner Intermediate Dance Intensives; see calendars for times; June 8-12
  • RMSA Academy 3 and T & T students or dancers ages 10+
• 9 day Intermediate Summer Dance Intensives; see calendars for times; June 8- June 12, June 15-18
  • RMSA Academy 3b & 4 students or dancers ages 11+
• 10 day Advance Summer Dance Intensives; June 8-18 (no class June 14)
  • RMSA Academy 5+ students or dancers ages 13+

RMDT's Intensive sessions provide a concentrated time for dancers to perfect different techniques which include a wide variety of dance disciplines, repertory and performing classes: ballet, pointe, jazz, hip hop, tap, contemporary, modern, musical theatre, conditioning, and/or choreography. Unique classes offerings can include acting, circuit training, flexibility, stage combat, improv, mock audition, and more! Participants also learn about other aspects of dance such as dance history, terminology, miming, and current affairs. Every year is different. Master classes in specified disciplines are also included in intensive sessions. 2026 Intensives will include Master Ballet Classes typically with variations and characters taught by Prima Ballerina Natalia Magnicaballi and guest teacher and artist Randy Pacheco from Ballet Arizona. 2026 will also include a wide variety of Musical Theatre classes led by Wild West Spectacular the Musical cast members that have come from across the country.

RMDT brings highly experienced dance instructors or performers to Cody, Wyoming to lead workshops and/or Summer Master Classes during Intensives. These Master Classes not only propels and gives unique training and experience to our local dancers but also readies dancers who plan to attend outside dance camps, RMDT's New York Experience, or continue to pursue dance after graduating.
